در لغت که در این بخش بعنوان لغات کاربردی آورده شده است شامل لغاتی است که در صورت نیاز در موقعیت های مختلف قابل استفاده است. یکی از مواردی که دانشجویان همواره باید در ذهن داشته باشند ، تنوع لغت در نگارش و مکالمه می باشد. پس بخاطر داشته باشید که تمام تلاش خود را بکنید که از این لغات و نظایر آن در نگارش خود استفاده کنید تا بتوانید نمره بهتری کسب کنید.

بعنوان مثال اگر می خواهید بگویید :

مثلاً می توانید بنویسید :

۱٫ dilute (verb):

Definitions:
۱٫ to make (a liquid) thinner or weaker by the addition of water or the like.
۲٫ to make fainter, as a color.
۳٫ to reduce the strength, force, or efficiency of by admixture.

Examples:

Taking away their commission or splitting it would dilute  the earnings of both of our sites.

Dilute  it with water and spray it on the bats’ faces.

Definitions:

reduced in strength, as a chemical by admixture; weak.

Example:

a dilute solution.

Definitions:
۱٫ a very great or indefinitely great number of persons or things.
۲٫ ten thousand.

Examples:

In addition, myriads  of  laws and regulations invade every aspect of the market.

Our immune system is a wonderful thing, having evolved over millions of years to protect us from myriads of  diseases.

Definitions:

productive ; fruitful

Examples:

a prolific writer.

a prolific pear tree.

a prolific year for tomatoes.

Within a few days the prolific  economist produced two papers.

۴٫ Strive (verb):

Definitions:
Try hard ; compete ; try

Examples:

to strive against fate.
He strove to make himself understood. to strive for success.
There are great free apps out there which strive  to enhance the reading   experience.

۵٫ sparse (adjective):

 

Definitions:
۱٫ thinly distributed: a sparse population.
۲٫ not thick or dense; thin: sparse hair.
۳٫ scanty; meager.

Examples:

True, the text was a bit sparse , but the numerous pop-ups and side panels kept me well entertained.

۶٫ exotic (adjective):

Definitions:
۱٫ foreign.
۲٫ unusual or strange.

Examples:

exotic foods; exotic plants ; Abundance and diversity matter more than whether species are native or exotic

an exotic hairstyle ; The building manages the neat trick of seeming exotic  but not bizarre.

۷٫ remnant (noun):

Definitions:
۱٫ Remaining of something.

۲٫ A piece of fabric remaining after the rest has been used or sold.

Examples:

So much energy develops in such a little space that eventually the whole thing blows up, leaving no remnant  behind.
But the older the remnant , the fewer fragments of color typically remain.

Examples:

Definitions:
represent pictorially: He delineated the state of Texas on the map with a red pencil.
to portray in words; describe : In her speech she delineated the city plan with great care.

Examples:

It is by no means clear how to delineate  the effective environment of an   organism.

It is difficult to clearly delineate  between the two.

delineate a character in the story. delineate the steps to be taken by the government.
